Who is Log Cabin Connection?

Log Cabin Connection is a repository of the knowledge and experience that we've accumulated over the years designing and building log homes in the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina.

As a licensed contractor, log home builder and mechanical engineer, I am cognizant of the myriad details and many choices to be made when you build your log home. I can help guide you through the process resulting in a solid, high-performance dream cabin whether you are building from scratch or assembling a log cabin kit.

You’ll find links to artists and crafters to help outfit your log cabin and to learn more about the beautiful western North Carolina area, home to some stunning mountain scenery, cozy log home communities and some of the best outdoor activities in the eastern United States!

I am constantly striving to upgrade this website as I continue my own log home education and explore the many areas related to log cabins and log and timber homes. Please join me in a collaborative effort to provide the best information and resources to share with others on the same path.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or requests for specific information or articles you'd like to see, please contact me directly here at Log Cabin Connection.
